As we know that Vijay is playing magician in Mersal. He took training form International Professional Magicians.

Gogo Requiem one of the magicians worked for Mersal mentioned in a tweet that Vijay is an incredible magician, the renowned magician of Macedonia in an interview said that this is his first movie offer and he had worked for 10 days. He admired Vijay for his humbleness and astonished with his performance in some scenes done in a single shot. He mentioned Dany Balev from Bulgaria and Raman sharma from Canada have also worked for magic effects of the film.
