Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) issue on 10% Entertainment Tax led to seizing the releases of few Tamil films in Tamilnadu.
Government levying 10 % Entertainment Tax without making changes in ticket prices makes a huge loss to the producers and distributors. It’s been more than a week and negotiations are made on the issue but there’s no official announcement from council or government.
According to the sources, a final meeting will be held today at noon with ministers and producers council to put an end to the issue, on the other hand actor Vishal, Nadigar Sangam President had put forth the council’s demands on his twitter page.
