Shiva(Vijay Devarakonda) hardly pass out his degree and comes to Hyderabad in search of a job. After testing his luck in various jobs with the support of his brother and sister-in-law he buys an old car. He converts it as Taxi, in his first ride itself he falls in Love with Anu(Priyanka Jawalkar). When everything seems to be happy Shiva notices some weird things happening in his car. The rest of the story is all about how Shiva finds out the mystery behind the car and how the story is related to Anu(Priyanka) and Shishira(Malavika Nair).
Vijay Devarakonda one again impressed with his attitude and mannerisms. Vijay has carried his style, heroism, fear, and emotions brilliantly. Especially in pre-climax and climax scenes, Vijay acting is outstanding. Priyanka role doesn't have much importance but she impressed with beauty. Malavika Nair once again got a good role to prove herself. Madhu Sudhan in the role of hero friend impressed with his comedy timing. All other cast showed their presence felt.
Director Rahul Sankrityan has chosen supernatural thriller for Taxiwaala has been delivered successfully on screen. The main strength of the film is a comedy. The first half of the film consists of Vijay and his friend's funny scenes. In the second half, entertainment is little low but the climax and pre-climax scenes are executed well. Graphis are disappointing, cinematography by Sujith Sarang has given good visuals. Except for one song all are forgettable, BGM is good. Editing is done and production values are good according to the level of the film.
