Roshan(Akash) completes his engineering and wants to join in Army and he always gets haunted by dreams from his childhood like he has given an oath to someone and also about his death in his past life. The same kind of dreams is haunted by Pakistani girl Afreen(Neha Sharma). They both meet in train after the journey, they both are in their own ways. Afreen return to Pakistan and Rohan goes to the Himalayas for training where he found an important clue of his Past. He goes to Pakistan while searching Afreen. What kind of Situations he faced. What is the relation between Afreen and Roshan?
Akash Puri as a Roshan is convincing in his role. Action wise he is performed well and also stuck with simple action scenes. Director Puri Jagannath tried to elevate his son as a hero in most of the scenes however it may take few years to accept Akash as Hero for Audience. Scenes in Military Background and Dailouges in the Climax gave a good impact to the movie. Debutante Neha Shetty as a Muslim girl impressed with her looks and performed well in her role. But the chemistry between the both is Missing. Sayaji Shinde in father role is convincing and a Strong Villan(Vishu Reddy) performed well with his first entry.
Director PuriJagannadh written and directed Mehbooba in a creative way. He chose the story of past Life and interconnected to present, he delivered the story neatly without confusion but failed to attempt better screenplay. In First Half, he just bored with long pace scenes even in the second half too. Climax became one of the highlights of the movie. Production values are rich. Music by Sandeep Chowtha is average. Location showcases and camera work is superb.
Mehbooba is a good Love Story, one time Watchable movie
