Ee.Ma.Yau welcomes into a coastal village Chellanam with a death of Vavachan Mesthri(Kainakari Thankaraj). The only wish of Vavachan Mesthri to get a grand funeral ceremony as like his father's. And his son Eeshi(Chemban Vinod Jose) fulfills the wish of his father.
Vinayakan portrayed as Ayyappan once again shown his talent with his tremendous performance sometimes he steals the show. Mainly his punch dialogues with an emotional outburst in the police station are outstanding. Chemban Vinod in a son role is extraordinary, emotional bond between Son-Father executed well. Kainakari Thankaraj Portrayed as Vavachan Mesthri is convincing and it was great to see in a big role. Dileesh Pothan role is little as a Priest but it is quite good with a smaller appearance as well. Rest of the cast have done their jobs well.
Director Lijo Jose Pellissery neatly picturized each and every moment of death journey including social elements. He completely utilized climatic weather during the situations. Sometimes it makes us feel we really visit the funeral in the coastal region. Shyju Khalid camera work is realistic, Prashant Pillai Music elevated movie, Background Music is apt in the Situations. Ee.Ma.Yau is a great attempt in Lijo Jose Pellissery direction.
