Daddy Review

Daddy is the documentary based film which shifts you from the years starting 2011 to 1976, then to 2012 and to 1987 and again to 2012. The director travels you to the whole story of Gawli by going backward and forward by showing the documentary in parts.

The first half of the movie shows the gangster and cruel don angle of Arun Gawli and him strict to show Gawli as a family man and politician in the second half. Arun marries to a Muslim girl Zubeida (Aishwarya Rajesh) and later he converts her into Asha but still, he respects both the communities and religions. Daddy has only the minimum dramatization and emotional touches as it is mostly covered up with the Documentary.

Daddy movie review

Arjun Rampal who is known as the best physical converter to look alike as original has done the fabulous job. You can see the hard work of him to change totally as the underworld gangster Arun Gulab Gawli. Vijaykar Nitin was impressive with his performance as a cop who chased Gawli. And the other actors have done up to their mark.

Ashim Ahluwalia the director of Daddy has taken the main part as a Documentary of Arun Gawli and he failed to maximize the Dramatization as a film. Technically camera work is very efficient and it opted to the soul of Daddy.

Daddy is a Crime Drama of the Gangster Arun Gawli.
