Aakash (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a blind pianist but he has an ability to guess the things going around him so that it creates doubt whether Aakash is blind or not. He meets Sofie(Radhika Apte) daughter of Bar owner Franco who employs Aakash as a Pianist. Aakash with his sweet music compositions wins the heart of the audience and Yesteryear actor Pramod Sinha(Anil Dhawan) and his young wife Simi(Tabu). So Simi and Aakash meet each other. In the Simi apartment murder took place to that Aakash is the witness to the crime. Police suspects Aakash is the murderer is it true? Is he blind or not? If not why he is acting as blind? If really he is a blind how can he able to kill him? If he did not commit that offence, how did he get out of that crime? What is the flashback of the blind artist?
Ayushman Khurana delivers smooth, nuanced and believable performance. He completely steals the show in a blind role. Ayushman Khurana drops his romantic breezy angle and becomes the blind guy, of course, it is a challenging role but he performed with an ease. Radhika Apte and Tabu played in a crucial role, they executed their roles in an effective manner.
Sriram Raghavan has successfully managed the suspense till the end of the movie. He made the audience to keep at the edge of seats by giving constant turns and twist to plot. His brilliant screenplay, nicely crafted narration and dark comedy run the plot on an interesting note. Amit Trivedi music gives the right mood to suspense thriller as required.
