CIA is a romantic political comedy entertainer directed by Amal Neerad produced by Ajmal Kahalid under the banner of Amal Neerad Productions.
The film features Dulquer Salmaan, Chandini Sreedharan and Karthika Muralidharan in the lead roles, while Priyanka nair, Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, Dileesh Pothan, John Vijay, and Vishnu Gopal Nair are other cast.
CIA is a little disappointment for director Amal Neearad fans with weak writing notes. First half of the film is entertaining, but coming into the second half it is a mediocre with weak characters. Technical aspects are the plus point of the movie especially BGM given by Gopi Sunder.
Undoubtedly highlight of the film is Dulquer Salmaan. He is at his best with his performance and his intro scene is power packed. Actress karthika was ok within her role. Siddhique and Dulquer combination scenes are entertaining.
Director did not reach the expectations
Second half is weak
The movie is a onetime watch for Dulquer Salmaan and for technical aspects. Overall an average flick with decent 1st half and with a tolerable second half
