Noor is a tale of Mumbai Journalist Noor roy Choudary. She aspires to do issue based journalism but she struggles with her weight and own life issues, and her love life non existence. With all these issues one day she found an organ trade racket case which is changing her life and career.
Noor is based on a novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! By Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz. Directed by Sunhil Sippy, Music is given by Amaal Mallik, Naren Chandavarkar, and Benedict Taylor and movie is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Vikram Malhotra.
Sonkashi sinha appears as a journalist along with her film also features Purab kohli, Shibani Dandekar and comedian Kanan Gill, Smita Tambe.
Noor is the best attempt for Sonskshi in seven years career. She wants to deals with serious issues but she work in a news agency which focusing on entertainment and freak show stories. Her friends are Silly as like yours, her issues are flippant.
Director Sunhil Sippy has accomplished the uncommon feat of not stereotyping people in the media by demonstrating them as jhola-toting obstinate creatures. Keiko Nakahara’s cinematography is good. Aman Malik songs are not that extraordinary. The movie is complete Sonakshi’s show. Gill brings the ease to the movie whenever it falls. In some places director miss the logics while gathering news and investigation scenes.
